Data-Informed Instruction & Faculty Development

Professional Learning Communities (PLC)

We firmly believe that the quality of an education system cannot exceed the quality of its teachers. Our PLCs are the collaborative engine of our instructional excellence, shifting the focus from simply teaching to actively ensuring every student learns.
📁  PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION
▪  Weekly Dedicated Blocks: Timetabled, subject-specific collaborative sessions integrated into teachers’ schedules.

▪  Data-Dive Sessions: Analyzing formative assessments together to adjust upcoming lesson plans.

▪  Peer Coaching Cycles: Structured, non-evaluative classroom observations with immediate, constructive feedback loops.
🎯  STRATEGIC GOALS
▪  Standardized Excellence: Ensuring pedagogical quality and student experience are consistent across all classrooms.

▪  Responsive Pedagogy: Enabling rapid instructional adjustments based on real-time student learning data.

▪  Lifelong Learning Culture: Fostering an environment where teachers model continuous growth and global certification readiness.

Holistic Student Success

Academic rigor is only one facet of our educational mandate. We intentionally design our ecosystem to nurture the whole child, recognizing that every student has unique, God-given talents waiting to be cultivated.

How we actively achieve this:

▪  Structured Co-Curricular Pathways: Offering a diverse array of specialized clubs (CCA) ranging from robotics and coding to performing arts, led by expert mentors.

▪  Integrated Character Building: Embedding social-emotional learning and biblical virtues directly into daily classroom routines and discipline approaches, not just isolated chapel sessions.

▪  Platforms for Excellence: Actively facilitating and coaching students for participation in National Science/Math Olympiads, regional athletic leagues (Basketball, Futsal), and grand theatrical productions to build confidence and teamwork.

▪  Service-Learning Integration: Translating classroom knowledge into community action through mandatory, reflection-based community service projects (FLeX), ensuring over 1000+ hours of student-led outreach annually.

Student Proficiency Growth (Year-over-Year)

What does this mean? This metric tracks the percentage of students meeting or exceeding our rigorous internal standards and national benchmarks compared to the previous academic year. It reflects our commitment to continuous academic improvement and the direct impact of our data-informed teaching strategies across core disciplines.

Parents are the Prime Educators

As partners in the educational journey, our Parent Engagement Protocol is strongly guided by the Joyce Epstein Model, fostering robust collaboration through 6 key types of involvement:

1. Parenting

Assisting families with parenting skills, family support, understanding child development, and setting home conditions to support learning at each age and grade level.

2. Communicating

Establishing effective two-way communication channels about student programs and student progress between home and school.

3. Volunteering

Improving recruitment, training, and schedules to involve parents as volunteers and audiences to support students and school programs.

4. Learning at Home

Involving families with their children in academic learning at home, including homework, goal setting, and other curriculum-related activities.

5. Decision Making

Parents support the Yayasan and Leaders’ decision making while also having the chance to actively voice out their concerns, insights, and ideas to support the school better.

6. Community Collaboration

Integrating resources and services from the community to strengthen school programs, family practices, and student learning and development.
